Can A Temporary Residence Permit Be Withdrawn?

A permit can be withdrawn if the purpose for their stay ceases to exist or if the applicant no longer fulfills the necessary requires for the permit. It may also be cancelled if the applicant's details enter the list of undesirable foreigners or for reasons of public safety. Should the applicant have submitted any false information during their application, if they owe tax or if they refuse treatment for a compulsory medical condition their permit may also be revoked.

The Application Procedure

How To Get A Work Visa For Kuwait. If you are interested in relocating to Kuwait in order to find employment, you will need to know how to get a work visa for Kuwait in order to live and work legally in the country. Employer Sponsorship

To be permitted to reside and work within Kuwait, overseas applicants must obtain an iqama, or residency visa. This is only possible if you have already been offered a job in Kuwait, either by a government organization or by a private company.

Once you have been offered a post, your new employer can then apply for the residency visa on your behalf. Once this has been done, you will be issued with a NOC or No Objection Certificate which will entitle you to enter the country.

Once you have entered the country, you will be issued with your residency visa as long as you meet the other essential criteria including the medical testing element. You can only be granted a maximum period of five years residency after which you will be required to renew your application.

You will be charged a fee of KD 10 per year, however if you will be working for a government organization, your employer will pay this amount for you. If you will be working for a private company, you will need to negotiate whether you will bear the cost or whether you new employer will be prepared to cover the amount on your behalf.

Necessary Documentation

If you wish to apply for a Kuwait work visa, you will require a current passport with at least three months unexpired validity on it. It will also require a minimum of one empty page to receive your visa.

You will also have to send one passport photograph of yourself which meets all of the required guidelines. You will also need to supply a police clearance from your home country stating that you have a clean criminal record and that there are no restrictions on you leaving your own country of origin. You will, of course, also have to submit a completed and signed visa application form.

Medical Testing

In order to be issued with your residency visa, you will have to pass certain medical tests to show that you have no communicable diseases. As part of this testing, you will have to have an HIV test as well as tests for Hepatitis B and C, tuberculosis, syphilis, typhoid, malaria and filariasis.

You will also need to have a certificate of health from a local doctor which states that you are in good physical health and that you have no contagious diseases of any sort. You will also receive a vaccination to protect you against meningitis.

You will receive the results of these tests within a week, however if you are found to have any of these diseases, you will be deported out of the country. If you have a negative result in all of the tests, you will receive a letter confirming your health clearance from the Ministry of Public Health and once you have received this health clearance, you can then be issued with your residency visa.

Kuwaiti Civil ID

Once you are in receipt of your residency visa, the next step is to apply for a bitaqa-almadaniyah or Kuwaiti Civil ID. You must submit your application for this within thirty days of being issued with your residency visa.

Dependents

A man who has been issued with a residency visa can then apply for his spouse and dependents to join him in Kuwait, acting as their sponsor; however a woman cannot act as a sponsor on behalf of her husband.

Security Clearance and Fingerprinting

The applicant must also have the appropriate registration, certification or state license necessary to carry out the specified job and have undertaken the essential training and education or have significant experience in that field.

How Long Does The H-1B Visa Last For?

This visa is usually granted for a period of up to 3 years; however it is possible to extend it for a period of up to a maximum of 6 years. While it is a non-immigrant visa, this is one of the categories of visa which is recognized as a dual intent visa, and this means that the holder of the H-1B visa is allowed to apply for and be issued with a United States Green Card while they are working in the United States under the H-1B visa. Anyone who has been issued with an H-1B visa and who wants to stay in the United States for a longer period than six years is allowed to apply for a Green Card which will allow them to gain permanent residency in the country. Anyone who does not apply for their Green Card while they are working in America under an H-1B visa will have to reside outside of the United States for a minimum of one year once their initial six year period has expired before being allowed to apply for another H-1B visa.

Can Dependents Come To The US Under An H-1B Visa?

Any applicant who is successful in being issued with an H-1B visa is permitted to bring their spouse and any dependent children who are aged less than 21 years into the United States with them. They will enter the country under the H4 visa category which is the category for dependents.  Those who are accepted for a Tier 2 Visa are permitted to remain in the UK for the specified period and to work for their sponsor employer in the job that is on their certificate of sponsorship. They are also permitted to undertake a second job within the same sector at the same professional level for up to 20 hours per week. They can also undertake any voluntary work, study and travel abroad and return unhindered to the UK. Visa holders are also allowed to bring dependents and family members into the UK with them. Holders are not permitted to own more than 10% of their sponsor's shares unless their salary is over £155,300 per annum. They are also forbidden from receiving public funds and applying for a second job until they have commenced working for their sponsor.

Temporary Work Short Stay Visa

This type of temporary visa allows the holder to stay in Australia for a period of up to 3 months and to engage in work of a highly specialized and short term nature. This work must be non-ongoing and the applicant must be invited to apply for this kind of visa by an eligible Australian organization. The applicant must apply for this type of visa from outside the country and there is a possibility of an extension for a period of up to 6 months depending on individual circumstances, although these are limited.

Temporary Work Long Stay Visa

This visa (subclass 401) entitles the holder to stay in Australia for a longer temporary time frame in order to do one of the following:
Engage in full time domestic occupations for senior foreign executives
Participate in sporting activities at a high level
Undertake full time religious work
Work as a skilled employee under a work exchange arrangement
To be eligible for this visa type, you must be sponsored by a relevant employer and have the necessary experience and skills in order to do the job. In order to apply, the applicant may either be inside or outside the country at the time of application. Successful applicants will generally be granted a visa for a period of up to 2 years and sometimes up to 4 years depending on circumstances.

Temporary Work Entertainment Visa

This visa (subclass 420) is a temporary work visa designed purely for those who are working as a performer or support staff member in the entertainment industry. Applicants must be sponsored by a relevant industry employer and can either be inside or outside Australia at the time of application. The maximum period of this visa type's eligibility is 2 years.

What Can Temporary Australian Working Visa Holders Do?

In order to be successful in applying under this category, you must be able to show that your business idea is beneficial to the German economy, fulfils a need of German society and have written confirmation from your own bank that your project is fully financed.

Self employed work visas are granted for a period of up to 3 years, however if your business is a success, you can apply to have it extended indefinitely.

The H1B Visa

The H1B visa is aimed at skilled professionals who wish to work in the United States. The H2B Visa

The H2B visa is a short term employment visa for the United States which is suitable for those who are looking for short term or seasonal employment in the country. To apply for this visa type, you will already require a job offer from a suitable American employer and you must hold adequate qualifications to undertake this role. In most cases, this visa is only valid for one year, although it can sometimes be extended up to a three year period. To apply, you will also need to submit the relevant paperwork including evidence that you will return to your home country at the end of your visa validity period. Should you be granted this visa type, you can bring dependents with you into the country although they will not be permitted to work.

The L1 Visa

If you already work for a company and wish to transfer internationally to their American offices, you can apply for an L1 visa type. Usually, this type of permit will allow you to remain in the country for 3 years, although it may be granted for a period of up to 7 years in some cases. You must have already been working for the company for a period of at least 12 months before being eligible to apply. If you are granted this visa type, you will be permitted eventually to apply for a Green Card for residency. You can be sponsored by your company for an L1 visa if you are in a management role or if you have specialist company knowledge. To apply, you must submit the relevant paperwork to the authorities who may then grant your visa which will enable you to bring your dependents into the country with you.

The US Green Card

The Green card is a residency permit which you may be able to apply for if you meet the eligibility criteria. As a worker, you can apply for a Green Card if you are offered a permanent job in the United States that fits into one of the relevant categories. There are several categories of worker covered by the Green Card including those with exceptional talents and abilities, those with advanced qualifications in their area of expertise and skilled workers in a range of specific industries.
