Documents Required for Walk in Interview in Dubai — Complete Checklist

Documents required for walk in interview in Dubai checklist

A walk in interview moves fast. Recruiters in Dubai often screen hundreds of candidates in a few hours, and the candidates who get shortlisted are usually the ones whose documents are complete and organised. Whether you are attending your first walk in interview in the UAE or your tenth, use this checklist before you leave home so a missing paper never costs you a job.

Documents Checklist:

1. Updated CV / Resume — print at least 5 copies on clean white paper, with your UAE contact number and email on top.
2. Passport — original, plus 2 photocopies of the bio page. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months.
3. Visa copy — a copy of your visit visa, tourist visa or cancelled visa page, plus your entry stamp page if you recently arrived.
4. Passport-size photographs — at least 6, with a white background, as most companies collect them for the file.
5. Educational certificates — copies of your degrees, diplomas or ITI certificates. Attested copies are a plus for skilled and professional roles.

6. Experience certificates / reference letters — from your previous employers, showing your job title and years of service.
7. Emirates ID — if you are already a UAE resident, carry the original and a copy.
8. NOC or cancellation paper — if your previous visa was cancelled, carry the cancellation document; some employers ask for it at screening.
9. A pen and a simple folder — small thing, big impression. Forms are often filled by hand at the venue.

Interview Day Tips:

- Arrive 30 to 45 minutes early; many venues close the queue once the hall fills.
- Dress formally or in clean work attire suitable for your trade, even for technical roles.
- Keep one full set of copies ready to hand over, and keep your originals separate and safe.
- Never pay any agent or person who promises a job at the venue — genuine walk in interviews are always free.
