Cabin Crew

British Airways have 4 cabin crew fleets based out of Heathrow, Gatwick and London City Airport. To join BA's cabin crew team, candidates must have a strong customer focus, provide excellent hospitality and be prepared to travel on both short and long haul flights.

Language skills are a bonus and it is important to be a team player with the customer's safety at heart. Enthusiasm and good people skills are essential. As all training is provided it is possible to join the BA cabin crew team as an entry level candidate as long as all of the essential criteria is met including complying with height and appearance restrictions.


If you are an experienced pilot you will be up to the challenge of working for one of the world's top airlines. You must be ambitious and keen to exceed expectations and happy to fly both long and short haul flights with the world's most advanced aircraft. Ex-service pilots can apply for a pilot position with BA through the Managed Path - Direct Entry Pilot Scheme.

If you are interested in becoming a pilot but have no flying experience, you can apply through the Future Pilot Programme. This training scheme selects aspiring and talented future pilots who can rise to the challenge of the intensive training programme.

Necessary skills include motivation, good mathematical and verbal reasoning skills, 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including a Science, maths and English language and either 3 A levels at grades BBC or above or an honours degree at 2:2 or above or a pass or above in an MSc, MA, MPhil, DPhil, PhD or MBA.
